Amritsr was recommended by an Indian friend who is a chef at a 5 star hotel. I figured he would know the best place to have Indian food in Bangkok, and he was definitely right about Amritsr.

Every dish we have tried has been very very good. It is hard to describe how much more flavor the Amritsr food has than food at most local Indian restaurants. I asked the waiter (Kundan, who was very helpful) why the food was better at Amritsr and he said it was because the ingredients used are high quality and they make the food taste better.

I would definitely recommend Amritsr if you are looking for tasty good quality Indian food. It is not as cheap as many of the other local Indian restaurants, but the better food is definitely worth the slightly higher prices.
